Member Agreement & Facility Rules

Terms & Conditions

Last updated & effective: November 2026 • Governed under English Law.

Important Member Notice:By joining D1 Gyms Worcester or purchasing a day pass, you agree to comply with the safety and operational rules outlined below. Full formal contractual schedules are confirmed inside the Resamania membership portal upon enrollment.

1. Membership Eligibility & Health Questionnaire (PAR-Q)

Members must be a minimum of 16 years of age. Members aged 16 or 17 require formal written parental or legal guardian consent prior to card activation. All members must complete an initial Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q). If your health status changes at any point, you must notify reception immediately.

2. Payment Terms, Fees & Cancellation

  • 12-Month Committed Plan: Paid monthly via Direct Debit for a mandatory minimum initial term of 12 consecutive payments. Requires 30 days’ written notice prior to term end to prevent automatic rolling renewal.
  • Flexible Rolling Monthly Plan: Paid monthly via Direct Debit. Members may cancel at any time by providing 30 days’ written notice prior to their next scheduled billing date.
  • Annual Upfront Plan: Pre-paid in full (£450.00) for a continuous 12-month period. Non-refundable and non-transferable once activated.
  • Joining Fees: A one-off £15.00 joining fee applies to monthly plans (waived on the Annual Upfront plan).

3. 24/7 Facility Access & Tailgating Prohibition

D1 Gyms Worcester provides 24-hour access via individual digital app credentials or registered keycards. Access credentials are strictly personal and non-transferable.

Strict Zero-Tolerance Tailgating Policy:

Allowing another person to enter the gym using your credentials—or tailgating behind another member—is a severe security violation. Any member who facilitates unauthorized entry will have their membership terminated immediately with no refund and may be subjected to an administrative trespassing surcharge.

Emergency panic alarm points, automated defibrillators (AED), and two-way monitoring stations are positioned throughout the facility for member protection during unstaffed hours.

4. Class Bookings & Cancellations

Group exercise classes are booked via the Resamania member mobile application. To allow other members access to high-demand classes, cancellations must be made at least 12 hours prior to class start time. Persistent failure to attend booked sessions (“no-shows”) may result in temporary class booking suspensions.

5. Reformer Pilates Terms

Reformer Pilates carries a £15.00 supplement per session for members, or £30.00 total for non-member day guests. For hygiene and safety reasons, non-slip grip socks are strictly mandatory on all reformer carriages.

6. Code of Conduct & Equipment Care

  • Appropriate workout attire and clean, closed-toe athletic footwear must be worn at all times on the gym floor.
  • Members must re-rack all dumbbells, Olympic plates, and barbells to their designated storage positions after use.
  • Sanitising spray stations and wipes are provided throughout the gym; members are required to wipe down benches and machines after use.
  • Any aggressive, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward staff or fellow members will result in immediate removal and membership revocation.
